RF Code Rack Power Distribution Unit (RPDU) Tag Specifications
RPDU Tags
RF Code has partnered with RPDU manufactures to provide a method to unidirectionally monitor the power metrics provided by select RPDU models. There are two types of RPDU tags that RF Code offers. The first is the R175, which communicates with the RPDU via its Ethernet interface. Communication is limited to just between the tag and the RPDU device, so the exposure of having the device on the network is avoided. This means a physically sealed network is created without the need for security patches or certificate management. The R170 tag utilizes the serial port interface of select RPDUs to accomplish the same results. The tags operation as a unidirectional relay to transport information to Zone Manager and CenterScape over 433Mhz RF.
